SiouxBio and SB-EDGE Visual Standards
Corporate Branding, Marketing & Product Branding Style Guide – Updated 2020-09-09
Minimum clear space is the smallest distance allowed between the logo and the edge of a page, the edge of an image, or body copy; maintaining it at all times ensures prominence and legibility. For the Sioux Biochemical logo, this is equal to the height of the logotype.
Misuse and unauthorized alterations to the logo and icon damage brand identity and prevent all marketing materials from being presented in a consistent and professional manner. These examples serve as a guide for all usage.
The scientific expertise of Sioux Biochemical is delivered through its product brand, SBEDGE® The Registered Trademark.
As a registered US trademark, the SBEDGE® product brand must always be presented in its official legal format when accompanied by the registration ®. In written copy, the approved format is in all capital letters, without a space or dash. It is acceptable for the “EDGE” to be presented in a bolder font than the “SB”.

The SBEDGE® visual brand maintains the characteristics of the Sioux Bio branding, but eliminates the tri-hex circle icon. The blue field emphasizes the product benefit. On packaging, “Supplements” must be used in close proximity.
The generic ingredient in SBEDGE® supplements is native type 2 collagen. When marketing SBEDGE®, the ingredient nomenclature should always be presented in all caps as:
COLLAGEN NATIVE • TYPE 2
This clarifies that we are speaking specifically about the SiouxBio-specific ingredient.
